Advance Search
PrimeRole offers an advanced search mechanism to locate matching Salesforce records when the initial search doesn't yield satisfactory results.
Search Criteria
PrimeRole uses a tiered approach to searching, prioritizing the most accurate matches first.
Search Criteria for People:
- Email of person: The highest-confidence match; search stops when a match is found.
- LinkedIn URL of person: Another high-confidence match if no email is available.
- Full Name of person + Company Name of person: Moderate confidence; searched if the above criteria fail.
- Last Name + Job Title + Company Name (all of person): Lower confidence; the fallback criterion.
- Full Name of person + Domain of company: Used when company information is available but a direct match hasn't been found.
- Full Name of person + Alternate Domains of reference company: Expands the search to include other domains associated with the company.
- Full Name of person + LinkedIn URL of reference company: Uses the company's LinkedIn profile for a more precise match.
- Full Name of person + Name of reference Company: A more general search when other criteria are unavailable.
Search Criteria for Companies:
- LinkedIn URL: The most reliable identifier for companies.
- Domain: A strong secondary match.
- Company Name: A fallback option when no LinkedIn URL or domain is available.
Modifying Search Criteria
To refine the search process, users can modify criteria through the "Edit Match" or "Find Match" options.
Steps to Edit Search Filters

Access LinkedIn and Find a Profile:
- Open your LinkedIn account connected to your PrimeRole workspace.
- Navigate to the LinkedIn profile you are researching.

Activate the PrimeRole Extension: The extension should activate automatically. If it doesn't:
- Look for the PrimeRole icon on the edge of your LinkedIn screen.
- Click the icon to load person details.

Check for Existing Matches: Check the CRM Integration box in the PrimeRole extension. If no matches are found (🚫 icon) or if you want to refine existing matches, proceed to the next step.

Access Search Filters: Access the Search Filters menu via "Edit Match" or "Find Match" within the PrimeRole extension.

Modify Search Criteria: Modify criteria such as:
- Record Type (Lead/Contact).
- First Name, Last Name, LinkedIn Profile URL, or Title.

Use Enhanced Search Mode (Optional): Performs an OR-based search to broaden the scope of results.
Search Results Handling
- Results are displayed as soon as matches are found.
- The search stops at the first successful tier.
- Users can review multiple matches and select the appropriate record.
- Always have the option to create a new record if no satisfactory match is found.
Note: Lower-confidence matches (gray checkmarks) should be verified carefully to avoid errors.
